SOC Capital (“SOC”) was founded by Stephen O’Connell after 10+ years of experience in private equity, asset management, investment banking and operational finance, including serving as co-founder / CFO for a fast-growing private company.

SOC is an operating partner and independent sponsor for lower middle market businesses, with a particular focus on those in the following sectors: (i) Construction / Building Products (ii) Energy & Environmental Services and (iii) Infrastructure & Utility Services.

SOC seeks both buy-out and recap (majority and minority) opportunities, as well as those involving SOC serving in a contracted operating partner capacity to help grow the company with existing management / ownership.
